Nag Tibba, as the name suggest is the abode of Nag Devta. The shepherds of the aglar valley on the north side of Mussoorie hills known as Jaunpur, come to the top of this ridge to worhip the Nag Devta. Nag Tibba offers an excellent view of the mountain peaks in all directions. To reach the top, one has to pass through dense forests, and it is advisable to take a guide, unless one gets lost on the way.

There is enough space for camping in meadow, and the water source is nearby. Nag Tibba can be climbed from two sides. Most trekkers prefer the Pantwari side, which is a beautiful village showcasing the culture of Jaunpur. When you begin the climb from this place, it leads you to another village called Devalsari. From there, the road heads to Thatyur, which is not far away.

One can also take the trek in the reverse direction, climbing from Thatyur and coming down at Pantwari.

Detailed Itinerary (6 Days)

Day 1:

All the participants are requested to assemble at GMVN – TRH, Muni ki Reti, Rishikesh. Dinner and overnight at TRH, Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh.

Day 2:

Drive to Pantwari 135 Kms via Mussoorie with lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight stay in camp.

Day 3:

10 Kms trek to Nag Tibba Base camp, with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in camp

Day 4:

3 kms trek to Nag Tibba Top with packed lunch. In the evening 3 kms return trek to camp site. Dinner and overnight stay in camp.

Day 5:

16 Kms trek to Devalsari with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 6:

8 kms trek to Thatyur with packed lunch. Further 115 kms drive to Rishikesh via Mussoorie and Dehradun. Arrival Rishikesh. Tour Concludes.
