Grave of Barog is a popular place of interest in the Barog area of the beautiful hill station Shimla. During the construction of the Kalka–Shimla railway line an architect named Barog commenced the building of a tunnel near the railway track and he started digging from both ends. However, due to mistakes in his calculation, the ends of the tunnel did not meet. It is believed that according to the design laid out by Barog, this tunnel would have been the world's longest of its kind, if successfully constructed. People from places near and far come here to witness the grave and its scenic surroundings. The grave is surrounded by a garden, which is well maintained and beautifully manicured.
