Bhatner Fort Travel Guide

This Fort was constructed in 3rd century by a ruler of Jaisalmer in the memory of his father in an area of about 12 hectares and has over 6 thousand kunguras or projections. It has many watch towers at the height of 90 feet. There were also 52 wells constructed here - 40 inside the fort and 12 outside. There are several temples - Hanuman temple, Jain temple, a temple devoted to Radha, Raghunath temple and Bherun temple and one mosque.
