Damdama Sahib Gurudwara Travel Guide

Its origin goes back to the 10th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singhji. This Gurudwara commemorates the meeting of the 10th guru & the Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar in 1707. It was originally built by Sardar Bhagel Singh and then renovated & expanded by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. There is celebration of Hola Mohalla (Sikh Festival) with gaiety and fervour each year & pilgrims come here in large numbers in the months of February-March.
