Jaigarh Fort Travel Guide

The magnificent fort situated atop eagle’s hill was built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1726 to provide a strong defense to Amber and today it has become an important tourist destination. The fort houses the world's largest cannon on wheels, a majestic palace complex and the assembly hall known as 'Shubhat Niwas' along with a museum and an armory.
