Lakshman Jhula Travel Guide

The swinging bridge is believed to be related with a myth that laxman, younger brother of lord Ram had crossed River Ganga on this site. It is a 450 feet long suspension bridge that was built in 1939 by British. Today it is a centre for good times with its bazaars and crowded cafes. The best way to enjoy the place is by standing in the centre and feels the freshness of air, sound of flowing water rushing through the Ganges and the scenic beauty.
