Lalgarh Palace Complex & Sadul Museum Travel Guide

Lalgarh palace was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in memory of his father Lal Singh in 1902 AD. This impressive building is made in red sandstone is a mixture of Rajput, Muslim and European style. The Rajput style exteriors of this palace contrast dramatically with the contemporary décor within. This Museum depicts the lives and times of the three successive Maharajas of Bikaner i.e Maharaja Ganga Singh ji, Maharaja Sadul Singh ji and Maharaja Karni Singh ji and various artifacts and photographs are on display here. The museum is situated outside the main building and in front of this palace near the main gate of the Lalgarh Palace.
