Lodarwa Travel Guide

Lodarwa is the old capital of Jaisalmer located 16 km to the northwest from Jaisalmer. Now the only witnesses to its former splendour are the Jain temples, toran (ornate arch) and artificial divine tree (Kalptaru). Ruins of the deserted capital and the remains of an apartment of Princess Moomal still recall the famous love legend of Moomal-Mahendra.
