Lodhi Garden Travel Guide

Dotted with monuments and tombs of the Lodi and Sayyed periods, the Lodi Gardens are one of Delhi’s popular tourist attractions. Despite being a historical monument, the Lodi Gardens has become an integral part of the lives of many Delhites as many picnickers, walkers and joggers frequent the gardens in the mornings and evenings. The Lodi Graden boasts the National Bonsai Park, which is home to several varieties of miniature trees. The best time to visit the Delhi's loveliest escape is around sunset when the sunlight is mellow and the tombs are beautifully lit up. And the best place to view is the Athpula (eight-pierced) bridge across the lake.
