Mutiny Memorial Travel Guide
It was erected in 1863 and was built in the Gothic style in red sandstone, with four tiers rising from an octagonal base. The lowest tier consists of seven faces containing memorial plaques and one face holding the stairs to the upper tiers. It was built in memory of dedication and loyalty of all the Native Indian Soldiers and British Soldiers who fought in the battle of the 'Great Rebellion' also known as the Mutiny of Sepoys.
