Rana Kumbha Palace Travel Guide

The Palace of Rana Kumbha, the best-loved warrior king of Mewar, though in ruins, is still of great historical and architectural interest. It is the first large place to be seen inside the fort itself. The palace is believed to have underground cellars where Rani Padmini and other women committed Jauhar. During the evenings, one can enjoy a light and sound show, which narrates the colourful history of Chittorgarh. The show is organized in English and Hindi within the palace complex.
