Rani Ka Talab Travel Guide

Rani Ka Talab is a 400-year-old scenic and historic pond situated within the Ambala Cantt and stretches over an area of about four acres. The pond which was in control of the Sadhus until 1999 A.D is now under the authority and management of the Indian army. The Shiv Mandir and Devi Mandir along the ponds are frequented by visitors and devotees alike. The Talab however, remains almost dry most of the times except the monsoons. You may plan your visit depending on the seasons if you want to have a quiet evening beside a pond full of shimmering water. During the British rule, it was called as Company Bagh.
