Sajjangarh Travel Guide

Sajjangarh is 11 kms from the city and is now an Information centre of the Forest Department. The 18th century palace was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh and stands top Bansdara Mountain (2,468 ft). It is said that a nine-storey astronomical observatory was planned here, but Maharana Sajjan Singh died when he was 25 years old, when one storey was completed.
