Sariska Tiger Reserve Travel Guide
Earlier it was a hunting reserve area that was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a National Park in 1978. The park is home to numerous carnivores including Leopard, Wild Dog, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackal, and Tiger. These feed on an abundance of prey species such as Sambar, Chitel, Nilgai, Chausingha, Wild Boar and Langur. One can also visit Kankarwadi fort inside the reserve built by king jai singh ll. Entry to Reserve is open to private vehicles on Tuesday & Satarday only, As famous & ancient temple of Lord Hanuman [ Pandupole] is located inside the park. Tips: · Gypsy safari fee: Rs. 2410 for 6 people for 3 hrs · If someone wants to visit Kankarwadi Fort too then Rs. 400, charges are extra
