The Handicrafts and Handloom Exports Corporation of India Travel Guide

HHEC was conceived to cater to development of Handicrafts and Handlooms as national Handloom Development Corporation in 1958 and subsequently became Corporation in 1962 as subsidiary of State Trading Corporation of India Ltd. It was an Agency to provide bench marking in the handicrafts and handlooms sectors and a much needed marketing platform to these sectors. HHEC undertakes export of handicrafts and handlooms and products of village industries from India. It promotes and sells products of national awardees, craftsmen/artisans and weavers from all over India to the world.
