One of the major national park of central India is Van Vihar National Park was declared as national park in 1982. It is situated in Bhopal - the capital of India. It is been developed & managed by Modern Zoological Park, Ober all covers an area of about 4.45 km2. The animals kept are either orphaned or exchanged from other zoos. They are not captured from the forest. Van Vihar allows easy access to the visitors on a road passing through the park.
