The National Zoological Park of Delhi is popularly known as Delhi Zoo. Located adjacent to the old fort in Delhi, this sprawling green island is home to about 1350 animals representing almost 130 species of animals and birds from across the world. A motley collection of the amazing range of flora and fauna can be witnessed here. Don’t miss the white tiger from Rewa, the elephant which plays harmonica and the leopards. The zoo is home to many species now endangered in India. Some of the commonly spotted animals in the zoo include Indian Rhinoceros, black buck, Indian gazelle, leopard cat, Hippopotamus and Lion-tailed macaque.
